Totally different from their previous effort (Damage Done - 2002), in this release DT becomes more heavier and faster. The blastbeats are back, no more clean vocals, songs structure more complex and the synthesizers really come to the fore. If only they include the clean vocals in those slow passages of the songs. Overall, very good album.

CoF returns!!! More back to basic songs structure, no more blown out orchestration and gothic themes. Lack of that is replaced with tons of guitar melodies. The duet with Liv Kristine in "Nymphetamine Overdose" and "Nymphetamine Fix" really stands out.

Movie Spree!!!

What do u get from a movie spree? Apart from wasting your money and time, u'll get back ache and watery eyes. I even get a cramp in my leg at one point. Damn seats .. But, it was fun though. The adventure began at 1PM in the afternoon and finished at 11PM++, didn't go for the midnight .. too sleepy. Alexander (nice cinematography but weak in storyline, sometimes looked like gay porn), Ocean 12 (entertaining but couldn't beat Ocean 11), Without A Paddle (cheap movie, just to relax the mind) and The Forgotten (first half was so intense and ruined by the second half with alien mumbo jumbo).

My record last time was 5 movies in a day .. got nothing else better to do huh ..

Discover Sarawak

Why vacation is always tiring in the end? I guess it's because of the travelling. Was in Sarawak for the weekend with my family. Check out [the focusing blur] for some pics. Last year we went to Cameron Highlands. Nothing much to do there. City tour, culture village, water front, damai beach etc etc. There're a lot of other places we couldn't make it because of raining and also short time frame. But we sure did a lot of shopping. I guess the time was wisely used for shopping .. hahaha

Met Kerre, a friend back in UUM. He's married and I didn't even know about it. Well, time flies by so fast until couldn't keep track of it. Best wishes for him, his wife and soon to come baby.

So next destination will be .... Langkawi!!!!
